Dr Martin Sanders
Martin has lived most of his life investing in others. His years of experience as a successful pastor, professor and consultant were years spent developing the leaders around him. With remarkable insight, powerful communication skills and the rare ability to be cross culturally relevant, Martin has been empowering leaders to become the best they were designed to be. For over 25 years, Martin has been asking the unasked questions, seeing the seemingly invisible hindrances, and unlocking the potential in men and women all over the world. With candour, authenticity, wit and wisdom, Martin connects people to life-change and unleashes the power of organizations. His ability to connect and communicate with people all over the globe make him a much sought after mentor, speaker and consultant. Martin is currently professor of Pastoral Theology at Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, NY. Martin and his wife, Dianna have four children: Bo, Amie, Eric and Lauren.
Martin is the guy who asks you the unasked questions. He notices the unnoticed things about you. He quickly becomes an expert on "the best of who you are" and turns it back on you like a mirror. He shows you who you can really be and how big your dreams really are. When he's done you don't want to be like someone else or even like him. You just want, with all your heart, to be more fully yourself! Some call it inspiration. Others call it encouragement or mentoring. Whatever you call it, this is what Martin does and teaches better than anyone else I've ever met. Martin gives those he mentors a big trashcan. No mentor has more effectively and efficiently led me through the process of unburdening myself from all the garbage and baggage that attaches itself to leadership. He liberates young dreamers so they can step up and become young leaders.
